电极头研磨方法

Abstract

Provided is an electrode tip-grinding method with which grinding malfunctions can be determined at times other than when maximum torque is being generated. Specifically, a tip dresser (18) is provided with a holder (27) that holds a cutter (28), a servo motor device (36) for rotating the holder (27), and a controller (50) for controlling the operation of the servo motor device (36). The servo motor device (36) outputs a torque generation signal to the controller (50) when a medium level load torque is being generated during normal grinding of a pair of electrode tips (11). When a torque generation signal is not input within a period corresponding to the time elapsed during normal grinding, the controller (50) determines there to be a grinding malfunction.
本发明提供了一种能够判断出在产生最大转矩以外的时间内的研磨异常的电极头研磨方法。具体而言,电极头修整器(18)包括支撑刀具(28)的支撑件(27)、让支撑件(27)旋转的伺服电机装置(36)以及控制伺服电机装置(36)工作的控制器(50)。在一对电极头(11)的正常研磨时产生了负荷转矩内的中间值转矩时,伺服电机装置(36)向控制器(50)输出转矩产生信号。当在对应于正常研磨时的经过时间的时间内未输入转矩产生信号时,控制器(50)做出研磨异常的判断。
